The Sennheiser HMEC 25-KAX is a supra-aural closed back headset that weighs less than six ounces and has a split headband design for unsurpassed comfort and fit. It is engineered to actively reduce cockpit noise. The active noise cancellation (ANC) feature called NoiseGard reduces noise by over 15 dB to provide over 30 dB of total noise attenuation.

The HMEC 25-KAX is equipped with two piece adjustable headband ensures a secure fit and an extremely comfortable ear pads. It has a 15 dB Active noise cancellation and 16 dB passive noise reduction coupled with a noise cancelling electret microphone with rotating boom.
