Lightspeed Zulu Aviation Headset

by HighFlyer

The Lightspeed Zulu Aviation Headset looks different because it is different. This new headset from Lightspeed has leapfrogged their previous headset models in leaps and bounds. It is the lightest, quietest and most comfortable headset the company has ever created.

The Lightspeed Zulu Aviation Headset is made from magnesium and stainless steel and so it is extremely durable and yet weighs just over 13 ounces. Its unique ear cup design provides more noise cancellation than any other aviation headset on the market. Put it this way, you get an effective and broader noise attenuation over the entire audible range. Rather than focusing purely on cutting decibels, researchers at Lightspeed studied at how pilots perceive noise at different frequencies.

In addition to, Lightspeed Zulu Aviation Headset incorporates advanced audiophile technology that has never before used on any type of headset or headphone. Also, it is Bluetooth compatible to allow for cordless cell phone access.

Zulu's ear cups are designed differently that is why they are shallow. Lightspeed has figured out a way to give the headset much better performance while making the ear cup smaller.

The Zulu is so quiet that it is actually possible to appreciate high end audio performance from an aviation headset. This is made possible through the use of audiophile grade components including high grade audio quality film capacitors and gold contacts for all wire connections.

I have both Bose and Zulu. The Zulu I prefer slightly over the Bose. Sound quality and clarity are sharler than on the Bose X.

Both are great headsets but for $150 less and what I beleive is better sound quality why pay more (although I did).
